If you were to live in the capital of the world, if you were to dwell in the palace of the kings and queens, if you were to have all the world in your hands, even then, you would never be as joyful as having the freedom of Jesus Christ our Lord! And now Paul says in Romans: brothers and sisters—we do have that freedom. Freedom that never ends, because Christ is eternal, freedom that never could be bought, because Christ is priceless, freedom that can never be taken away, because whatever Christ gives you, no one can take it away. Jesus wants us to rejoice in the freedom He gives us and He wants us to understand that nothing can ever hurt us because we are His property and whatever He has in His hands he will never let go!
